  • How to use xTiles?

    xTiles is an all-in-one app for organizing notes, tasks, and projects. With xTiles, you can easily make and manage projects, organize notes, tasks, and media, and get started quickly with pre-made templates for any use case. You can also invite teammates or clients to collaborate in any way necessary to get things done. Install the mobile app to stay on top of whatever you're working on.

  • How to work with tasks?

    The main benefit of using tasks is to increase efficiency and productivity in managing projects and tasks. In this article, you can learn more about xTiles tasks.

  • What is embeds?

    You can directly embed content from various programs into xTiles using the following features:

    "Embed" block:

    • Google Drive: Embed Google documents, spreadsheets, presentations, and other files directly onto your xTiles page.
    • CodePen: Add code snippets from CodePen to your page.
    • Typeform: Embed surveys that users can fill out directly in xTiles.
    • Amplitude: Add public dashboards.
    • Widgets: Use Pomodoro timer, weather, sliders, time displays, forms, and much more.

    "Embed PDF" block:

    • Display fully loaded PDF files on your page.

    In addition to that, you can also embed the following content:

    • Tweet: Embed links to tweets on the canvas or in a tile to display tweet posts, including videos, on your page.
    • YouTube video: Embed links to YouTube videos on the canvas or in a tile, or use the "YouTube video" block to play a video player with the desired video.
    • Images: Embed links to images on the canvas or in a tile, or upload them using the special "image" block.
    • Audio: Upload and play audio files using the dedicated audio block.

  • How to insert Word docs, spreadsheets and diagrams?

  • Change Language

    For the web application/desktop application:

    In our current version of the service, only English is supported.

    Note: However, web app users can install a browser extension that enables translation into any language.

    For iOS/Android apps:

    Currently, the mobile app supports two languages: English and Ukrainian.

    To change the language:

    1. Tap ☰ to expand the left navigation panel;
    2. Select the gear icon ⚙️ in the top right corner;
    3. Click "App Settings";
    4. Tap "Change Language".

  • Enable Dark Mode

    To activate dark mode, follow the steps below based on the platform you are using:

    For the web application/desktop application:

    1. Click on your profile picture (top right corner);
    2. In the dropdown menu, locate the dark mode switch;
    3. Click on it to activate the dark theme.

    For iOS/Android apps:

    1. Tap ☰ to expand the left navigation panel;
    2. Select the gear icon⚙️ in the upper left corner;
    3. Click on "App Settings";
    4. Enable the dark theme.

    Note: Dark or light theme is automatically activated based on your device's chosen theme.
  • How to create workspaces and documents in them?

    In this article, you can learn how to create your workspaces, projects, pages, sub-pages, and tiles and how to use the expanded block (focus view).

  • How to share a project for collaboration?

    Starting from the main workspace page, go to the project you want to share and click on "Share" in the top right corner. Enter the email address of the user in the corresponding field, select the access level from the dropdown menu (such as editor, viewer, commenting rights), and click "Invite."

  • How to restore a deleted project, page, or sub-page?

    Starting from the main page of the workspace or from the left menu in the project, open the trash bin and find the project, page, or sub-page you need. By clicking on them in the bin, you can preview their content. They will be displayed with a red stripe, giving you the option to restore or delete them permanently.

    Alternatively, you can directly restore or delete them permanently right from the trash bin.

  • I'm not receiving notifications. How can I enable them?

  • How can I change my email address associated with the xTiles account?

    ☝ Important: Changing your email address in the xTiles app is only possible if the new email address is not already linked to an existing xTiles account.
    1. To initiate the change, send two separate emails from your current email address to the email address you want to link to your xTiles account;
    2. In each email, include the following text: "I would like to change my email address from [current address] to [new address];
    3. Send these emails to [email protected] .
    ☝ Important: For accounts registered through Google or Apple, you need to set a password for your account before changing the email.
    Follow these steps:
    ◦ In the top right corner, find "Profile";
    ◦ In the pop-up, click on "Account Settings";
    ◦ Locate the "New password" section;
    ◦ Set a new password and save it.
    Afterward, proceed with the steps from point 2.
